The PureAir system uses a three-part approach to address major categories of indoor air contamination.
Captures Fine Airborne Dust & Allergens:
The Carbon Clean 16® uses a MERV 16 filter to capture up to 95% of sub-micron particles, including pollen, pet dander, mold spores, and fine dust particles as small as 0.3 microns.
Neutralizes Viruses & Germs:
The system helps neutralize up to 90% of airborne bacteria and virus-sized particles down to 0.01 microns as they pass through the return air.
Breaks Down Smells & Chemical Vapors:
Using Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO), internal UVA lighting works with a specialized catalyst to break down household odours and chemical vapours from sources such as cooking, pets, and cleaning products.

Maintenance
The high-capacity MERV 16 filter and internal UVA lamp cartridge are typically replaced once every 12 months.
System Integration
The system is compatible with most standard central heating and cooling ductwork systems. The smart PureAir S requires a compatible Lennox communicating thermostat and indoor unit for its smart feature tracking.
